Materials Included
The Alere™ hCG Cassette (20) test kits contain the following:
30 Test Cassettes with Pipettes, individually packaged.
Do not open until ready to perform test.
Also required: patient urine sample, timer
Remove test from pouch
Tear pouch along notch to open and remove Test Cassette and Pipette.
Prepare sample
Open or uncover the patient urine sample.
Collect patient sample
Squeeze and release the Pipette to collect patient sample.
Transfer 3 drops of Urine - Wait 3 Minutes
Expel 3 drops of urine to sample well of Test Device, as shown
Set timer and wait 3 minutes
Click next to skip countdown.
Interpretation - Negative or Positive
Pick up Test Cassette or leave it flat to interpret results - One line is negative, two is positive.
Wait for the red line(s) to appear. Read the result at 3 minutes.
